The Dan On Foundation, established by Mr. Dan On, embodies his journey from a Vietnamese refugee in 1979 to a dedicated philanthropist giving back to communities in both Canada and Vietnam. The foundation has supported Vietnam's orphanages, schools, and medical facilities while contributing to hospitals, universities, and senior care initiatives in Canada. Through partnerships with organizations like the Asian Canadian Benevolent Association for the Elderly, volunteers provide food to elders and the homeless in Chinatown.
